Processador Intel Xeon Gold 6538Y+ - 2,2 GHz - 32 núcleos - 60 MB Cache - socket FCLGA4677

The Intel Xeon Gold 6538Y+ is a server-class processor with a base clock of 2.2 GHz, offering 32 physical cores and 64 threads. Designed for enterprise workloads, it features a large 60 MB cache and compatibility with FCLGA4677 socket platforms. This OEM processor targets compute-intensive tasks such as virtualization, database processing, and large-scale analytics where sustained multicore performance and platform-level reliability are required.

Advantages

The processor provides high parallel processing capacity through its 32 cores and support for 64 threads, enabling efficient handling of multithreaded server applications. The substantial 60 MB cache reduces memory latency for frequently accessed data, improving throughput in database and in-memory workloads. Compatibility with FCLGA4677 socket systems ensures integration into modern server platforms that support advanced memory and I/O configurations. As an OEM unit, it is intended for integration in assembled systems and racks where enterprise-grade cooling and power delivery are available.

Suitable for

• Virtualization hosts running many VMs or containers
• Database servers and in-memory analytics
• High-performance compute clusters and batch processing
• Enterprise application servers and multi-threaded workloads

When it may not be suitable

This processor is optimized for server and datacenter environments and may not be suitable for desktop or compact workstation builds due to its socket requirement and typical power and cooling needs. Single-threaded desktop applications and light office tasks will not fully utilize the multicore capacity and may be overkill in terms of cost, power consumption, and cooling requirements.

Key specifications

• Number of cores: 32 physical cores
• Threads: 64
• Base frequency: 2.2 GHz
• Processor cache: 60 MB
• Socket compatibility: FCLGA4677
• Target platform: Server/datacenter environments

How to use

Install the processor into a compatible motherboard with an FCLGA4677 socket following the platform manufacturer's mounting and electrical guidelines.
