Rato Evoluent VM4S USB Type-A

The Evoluent VM4S USB Type-A is an ergonomic wired mouse with a sculpted vertical shape that supports the hand in an upright neutral posture. Designed for office use, the mouse connects via USB Type-A, offers six programmable buttons and a wheel scroll, and aims to reduce forearm twisting and wrist strain during prolonged work sessions.

Advantages

The patented vertical design encourages a natural hand position that generally avoids forearm twisting. The contoured body provides easy access to programmable buttons without finger contortions, and an improved thumb rest increases comfort compared with earlier versions. A second thumb button and adjustable laser sensor expand functionality and pointer control. Visual indicators include top-mounted LEDs for pointer speed and a lighted Evoluent logo that turns off in sleep mode to conserve power.

Suitable for

• Office work and general productivity tasks
• Users seeking ergonomic solutions to reduce wrist and forearm strain
• People who need multiple programmable buttons for shortcuts

Install the Evoluent Mouse Manager driver on Windows to assign button functions and customize settings.

Recommendations

For best ergonomic benefit, maintain a relaxed posture with the forearm supported and periodically change hand position. Use the driver to program frequently used shortcuts to the thumb buttons to reduce repetitive movement.
