Rittal Perfil de Proteção contra Poeira para Armários TS 8, EPDM, RAL 7024 Cinzento Grafite, Rolo de 25 m

In industrial control cabinets, dust ingress is a leading cause of premature component failure. Maintenance engineers fitting out Rittal TS 8 enclosures in dusty production halls rely on this dust protection profile to seal the critical gap between the frame and doors or side panels. The EPDM rubber strip presses firmly into the enclosure's profile groove, creating a durable barrier against fine particles and moisture. Supplied on a 25-metre roll, it can be cut to length for multiple enclosures, making it a practical stock item for panel builders and service technicians.

Why choose it

This profile is engineered specifically for Rittal TS 8 enclosures, ensuring a precise fit without adhesives. Its EPDM composition retains flexibility at extreme temperatures, so the seal remains effective in both cold storage and hot manufacturing environments. The graphite grey colour matches standard Rittal frames, maintaining a professional appearance. By improving the enclosure's seal, it helps achieve higher IP ratings such as IP54 or IP55, protecting sensitive electronics from dust and splashing water.

Ideal use cases

• Sealing doors and side panels on Rittal TS 8 enclosures in dusty factories
• Upgrading existing enclosures to meet higher ingress protection requirements
• Stocking as a consumable for panel building and enclosure modification projects
• Replacing worn or damaged original seals during maintenance

Good to know

One roll provides enough material for approximately 8–10 standard enclosures, depending on door perimeter. The profile can be cut with standard scissors or a utility knife. No special tools are required for installation—simply press the profile into the groove along the frame. Store unused material in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its properties. Rittal recommends checking the seal annually and replacing it if it shows signs of compression set or cracking.
