Microfone dinâmico de palco RØDE PodMic — padrão cardioide, XLR-3 com fios, 20–20.000 Hz, saída simétrica, 937 g, preto

The RØDE PodMic is a broadcast-quality dynamic microphone designed for podcasting. It delivers a rich, balanced sound and includes an internal pop filter to reduce plosive sounds, along with internal shock mounting to minimise handling noise and vibration. The microphone is optimised for use with the RØDECaster Pro Podcast Production Studio but also performs well with other high-quality microphone interfaces.

Advantages

The PodMic provides consistent broadcast-level audio quality in a robust, all-metal chassis. Its internal pop filter and shockmounting reduce common recording problems such as plosives and handling noise, making it suitable for both solo and multi-host podcast setups. The microphone’s impedance and gain characteristics are matched for podcast consoles like the RØDECaster Pro while remaining compatible with standard XLR preamps.

Key specifications

• Type: Dynamic microphone
• Intended use: Podcasting, broadcast
• Built-in features: Internal pop filter, internal shockmounting
• Connectivity: XLR (professional microphone interface)
• Body: Robust metal construction
• Optimised for: RØDECaster Pro Podcast Production Studio

How to use

Connect the PodMic to a microphone input using an XLR cable and set the gain on your console or interface to achieve a clear, undistorted level. Position the microphone 5–15 cm from the speaker’s mouth and slightly off-axis to reduce plosives further. Use the RØDECaster Pro or a compatible preamp to apply any necessary EQ, compression, or processing for the desired voice tone.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the PodMic with the RØDECaster Pro or a high-quality XLR preamp. Use a stable boom arm or shockmount and maintain consistent microphone placement. Consider a pop shield or using off-axis placement if additional reduction of plosives is needed.
