Router Draytek VIGOR ACS2 2,4 GHz 802.11ac

The Draytek VIGOR ACS2 2.4GHz 802.11ac router is designed to provide stable wireless connectivity for home and small office networks. It supports the 802.11ac standard on the 2.4 GHz band, combined with Draytek's management features and security protocols. The package includes a 1-year license for centralized management (WCF B package), enabling remote configuration and monitoring of multiple devices through the Draytek management platform.

Advantages

The router delivers reliable wireless performance on the 2.4 GHz band using the 802.11ac standard, balancing compatibility with legacy devices and improved throughput. Integrated security features protect network traffic with common enterprise-grade protocols, and the included centralized management license simplifies device provisioning and settings backup. Physical design and firmware options facilitate straightforward setup and day-to-day administration without complex manual configuration.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring central management and steady wireless access
• Home environments needing improved 2.4 GHz coverage and router-based security
• Multi-device premises where remote configuration and monitoring are desired
• Environments where a one-year managed service license is required for network oversight

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: 802.11ac on the 2.4 GHz frequency band
• Security: support for common network security protocols and firewall features
• Management: centralized device management support with a 1-year license for cloud-based controller package
• Deployment: suitable for ceiling or desktop placement with typical router form factor

How to use

Connect the router to your internet gateway or modem using the WAN port and power it on. Access the web-based administration interface via a browser on a device connected to the router's network, and follow the initial setup wizard to configure wireless SSID, passwords and firewall settings. Enroll the router into the Draytek management platform using the provided license credentials to enable centralized monitoring and remote policy deployment across managed devices.

Recommendations

Place the router in a central location free from large metal obstructions to maximize 2.4 GHz coverage. Keep firmware up to date and use the centralized management platform to schedule backups and apply consistent security policies. For environments with many neighboring wireless networks, configure channel settings manually to minimize interference on the 2.4 GHz band.
