Router Tenda MX21 Pro Tri-Band 2,4 GHz 5 GHz 6 GHz Wi-Fi 6

The Tenda MX21 Pro Tri-band 2.4 GHz 5 GHz 6 GHz Wi-Fi 6 router provides simultaneous connectivity on three frequency bands to support a mix of older and latest Wi-Fi devices. Designed for home and small office environments, it uses 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6) features to improve throughput, device capacity and network efficiency while keeping a compact white enclosure with internal antennas for discreet placement.

Advantages

The tri-band design separates traffic across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands to reduce congestion and maintain stable connections for multiple active devices. Wi‑Fi 6 technology brings higher data rates and better airtime utilization, while internal antenna placement offers consistent coverage without external protrusions. The router supports contemporary security and network management features to help maintain a reliable and manageable home network.

Suitable for

• Streaming high-definition video on multiple devices
• Online gaming with reduced latency
• Home offices and remote work with video conferencing
• Smart home device networks and IoT coverage
• Households with a mix of Wi‑Fi 6 and legacy Wi‑Fi devices

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11ax (Wi‑Fi 6)
• Frequency bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz (tri-band)
• Antennas: internal antenna design for indoor coverage
• Recommended environment: home and small office networks
• Primary functions: routing, wireless access point, network management

How to use

Place the router centrally in the coverage area and connect it to your modem using the WAN port. Power on the device and follow the initial setup procedure through the web interface or the router’s mobile setup option if available; create a secure administrator password and configure SSID names and passwords for each band. Connect client devices to the most appropriate band—use 6 GHz for the newest, high-throughput devices, 5 GHz for general high-speed use, and 2.4 GHz for greater range or older devices.

Recommendations

For best performance, position the router away from large metal objects and other sources of radio interference, keep firmware updated to receive performance and security improvements, and distribute high-bandwidth devices across different bands to avoid bottlenecks.
