Conversor de áudio ShiverPeaks 69130 – conversor de sinal inline digital para conectividade de áudio

The ShiverPeaks 69130 is an in-cable digital audio converter designed to adapt and route digital audio signals between different connectors and interfaces. Compact and intended for inline use, this converter accepts common digital inputs and provides a coaxial RCA (Cinch) analog-style connector output scheme suitable for connecting digital source devices to downstream equipment that requires a coaxial digital feed. It is supplied with its own power adapter and cable, and is intended for straightforward integration into studio, live sound and home audio cable runs where format matching or signal routing is required.

Advantages

The converter offers a compact form factor that fits directly into cable paths without requiring rack space, simplifying signal routing. It supports both optical (Toslink) and coaxial digital inputs and provides a coaxial-style output, enabling compatibility between devices that use different digital audio connectors. Inclusion of the power supply and connection cable reduces the need for additional peripherals and allows immediate deployment. The design focuses on stable signal transfer and convenient inline placement for temporary or permanent installations.

Suitable for

• Integrating audio sources and devices with different digital connection types
• Extending or re-routing digital audio links in studio and live sound setups
• Connecting consumer audio players or set-top boxes to equipment that requires a coaxial digital input
• Situations where a compact, powered inline converter is preferable to a rack-mounted unit

Key specifications

• Function: inline digital audio converter supporting optical (Toslink) and coaxial digital inputs to coaxial-style digital output
• Form factor: compact in-cable device intended for insertion into existing cable runs
• Power: external mains-powered adapter included for stable operation
• Connections: optical (Toslink) input, coaxial digital input option, coaxial (RCA/Cinch) digital output
• Use environment: suitable for studio, live sound, and residential audio installations

How to use

Place the ShiverPeaks 69130 inline within the audio cable run between the digital source and destination. Connect the source using either the optical (Toslink) cable or the coaxial digital cable to the corresponding input on the converter, then connect the coaxial (RCA/Cinch) output to the receiving device. Attach the supplied power adapter to the converter and a mains outlet to provide the required operating power. Verify signal lock and correct sample rate handling on both source and destination devices and make any device-level format selections if necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use high-quality digital cables and ensure connectors are firmly seated. Avoid routing audio cables alongside mains power cords to reduce interference. If you encounter signal or format mismatch, check that source and destination devices support the same sampling rates and bit depths or provide appropriate conversion settings on the equipment involved.
