Samsung Magician software

Run your SSD your way with Samsung Magician software—a suite of simple tools to maintain high SSD performance. Transfer data quickly and safely, track drive health, and get the latest firmware updates.

Choose the sure thing

We call them files and folders — but theyre really the moments you cant lose, from the plays you cherish to the work youve poured yourself into. When you've got everything to lose, choose the sure thing - trusted performance, solid protection, and the peace of mind that stays with every moment. Choose Samsung SSD.

How to use

Power off the computer and install the 2.5" SSD into an available SATA bay or external enclosure, connect the SATA data and power cables (or use a USB-to-SATA adapter for external setups), then power on and initialize the drive in the operating system. Use cloning or migration software to transfer the existing OS and data if needed. Install Samsung Magician software to manage firmware updates, monitor drive health, and apply performance optimizations.

Recommendations

For optimal longevity and performance, enable TRIM in your operating system, keep firmware updated via Samsung Magician, and avoid filling the drive to full capacity—maintain some free space for sustained write performance and garbage collection.
