For ergonomic use, alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day and adjust the desk so that the top of your monitor is at eye level and forearms are parallel to the floor while typing. Periodically inspect the frame and gas spring for signs of wear, and tighten mounting hardware if necessary. Avoid exceeding the desktop's load capacity and protect the gas spring mechanism from impacts or exposure to corrosive substances.
