Sensor de porta encastrado AEOTEC Recessed Door Sensor 7 Z-Wave Plus V2 branco — sensor de contacto encastrável para portas/aros

AEOTEC Recessed Door Sensor 7 is a compact white recessed contact sensor that fits into doors and frames for discreet monitoring. Using Z‑Wave Plus V2 wireless protocol, the sensor reports open/close status to compatible Z‑Wave hubs and controllers. Its concealed design preserves door aesthetics while providing reliable contact detection for security alerts, scene activation and home automation tasks.

Advantages

The recessed form factor allows nearly invisible installation that does not interfere with door operation or appearance. Z‑Wave Plus V2 connectivity ensures stable communication and integration with a wide range of smart home systems. The sensor provides accurate binary state detection (open/closed) suitable for triggering alarms, notifications, or automation sequences. Its compact size and white finish make it suitable for most interior doors and frames where discreet monitoring is required.

Suitable for

• Monitoring entry doors for security and access control
• Detecting window or cabinet openings when recessed mounting is preferred
• Triggering automation scenes (lights, cameras, alarms) on door open/close
• Concealed installations where visible sensors are unwanted

Key specifications

• Wireless protocol: Z‑Wave Plus V2 compatible
• Form factor: recessed contact sensor for flush installation in door or frame
• Color: white finish suitable for most interiors
• Detection: binary open/closed contact status
• Installation: requires a small bore hole in door and frame for sensor and magnet
• Integration: reports to Z‑Wave hubs and supports triggering of scenes and notifications

How to use

Install the AEOTEC recessed sensor by drilling the recommended diameter holes in the door and frame, insert the sensor body and corresponding magnet so that they align when the door is closed, and secure any mounting components as instructed by the manufacturer. Follow the Z‑Wave inclusion procedure on your compatible hub to add the device to the network; once included, configure reporting and associations in the hub interface to use the sensor for security alerts or automation triggers. After installation, test open/close reports in the controller to confirm correct placement and reliable communication.

Recommendations

Place the sensor at a location on the door and frame where the magnet and sensor align consistently when closed; avoid locations with excessive gaps or misalignment. Use the hub’s signal strength or device health tools to verify reliable Z‑Wave communication; for poor signal areas consider a Z‑Wave repeater or different mounting position. Follow manufacturer guidance for hole size and mounting depth to ensure proper function and maintain door integrity.
