The KWB 499483 hole saw with an 8.3 cm diameter is a tungsten-carbide-grit cutting tool supplied complete with arbor and pilot drill. The tool features a precision tube coated with special tungsten carbide grit and high-temperature brazing to secure the cutting surface. It is intended for cutting openings in aerated concrete blocks, masonry, tiles, ceramics, natural stone, lightweight building materials, plasterboard and plastics for installation work such as switches, sockets and water pipe penetrations.

Increase speed as appropriate for the material while applying steady, even pressure. For hard materials such as ceramic or natural stone, use slower speeds and allow the tool to cool periodically. Withdraw the hole saw occasionally to remove debris and prevent clogging.
