Servidor de tempo de rede Veracity TIMENET Pro VTN-TN-PRO 1U para rack, suporte NTP/PTP, recetor GNSS

The Veracity TIMENET Pro VTN-TN-PRO is a 1U rackmount network time server designed to deliver precise and reliable time distribution across IP networks. Equipped with a built-in GNSS receiver, the unit provides an accurate reference time source and supports both NTP (Network Time Protocol) and PTP (Precision Time Protocol) for flexible deployment in environments that require strict time synchronization. The compact 1U form factor suits standard racks in data centres, broadcast facilities, telecommunications sites and security installations.

Advantages

The device provides high-accuracy time synchronization using GNSS discipline and supports multiple time distribution protocols to meet varied infrastructure needs. Redundant network interfaces and a rackmount design enable straightforward integration into existing server rooms and network closets. The unit lowers clock drift, simplifies time management across distributed systems, and helps maintain consistent timestamps for logging, media production and networked devices.

Suitable for

• Data centres requiring centralized time distribution and accurate event logging
• Broadcast studios and playout systems where synchronized timestamps are essential
• Telecommunications networks that rely on precise timing for service delivery
• Security and surveillance systems that need consistent time across cameras and recorders
• Financial trading platforms and monitoring systems demanding reliable time sources

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rackmount
• Protocol support: NTP and PTP
• Reference source: integrated GNSS receiver for satellite time synchronization
• Network connectivity: multiple Ethernet interfaces for network distribution and redundancy
• Time accuracy: GNSS-disciplined time with low drift for precise synchronization
• Management: web-based and network management interfaces for configuration and monitoring
• Physical design: compact metal chassis suitable for standard server racks

How to use

Install the unit into a 19-inch server rack taking up a single U of vertical space and connect mains power following site electrical safety rules. Mount the GNSS antenna in a location with clear sky view and connect it to the receiver input. Connect the network interfaces to your distribution switches or routers and configure IP settings, NTP and PTP profiles through the device management interface. Integrate the time server into client systems by pointing NTP or PTP clients to the server’s IP address or using DHCP option-based provisioning where supported. Monitor synchronization status and logs via the management interface and adjust settings as required for your network topology.

Recommendations

Place the GNSS antenna with a clear view of the sky to ensure optimal satellite reception, use redundant network paths for critical installations, and schedule regular monitoring of synchronization status to detect and resolve any drift or network issues promptly.
