The Motorola G77 5G 12/256GB in Shaded Spruce is a mid-range Android smartphone designed for everyday use, media consumption and photography. It features a 6.78" pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and responsive touch, a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset for balanced performance, and a dual rear camera system led by a 108MP main sensor. With 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the device is equipped to handle multitasking and store large photo and media libraries. Additional features include 5G connectivity, NFC for contactless payments, Bluetooth 5.4, IP64-rated splash resistance, and military-grade durability support.

Advantages

The Motorola G77 5G combines a high-refresh-rate pOLED screen with a high-resolution main camera, providing clear visuals and detailed photos. Generous memory and storage allow for seamless app switching and ample local file storage without immediate need for expansion. 5G support and modern connectivity options such as NFC and Bluetooth 5.4 make the phone suitable for contemporary mobile workflows. The IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810 support add basic protection against dust and splashes as well as enhanced physical durability for everyday handling.

Suitable for

• Everyday communication: calls, messaging, email and social apps
• Media consumption: streaming video and music on a 6.78" 120Hz pOLED display
• Mobile photography: high-resolution 108MP main sensor and secondary 8MP camera
• Light to moderate multitasking and productivity with 12GB RAM
• Contactless payments and connectivity via NFC and Bluetooth 5.4

When it may not be suitable

The Motorola G77 5G is positioned in the mid-range segment and may not match flagship-level performance for sustained heavy gaming or extremely demanding professional editing tasks. Users requiring full dustproofing or submersion resistance should note the IP64 rating provides splash and light dust protection but is not equivalent to higher waterproof standards.

• Understand the IP64 rating offers splash resistance but not full waterproofing
• Check carrier compatibility for 5G bands in your region

Recommendations

For best daily experience, keep the system software updated, enable 120Hz where content benefits from higher refresh rates, and use the 108MP mode for important photos while relying on the 8MP secondary lens for specialized shots. Use a protective case for added drop protection despite MIL-STD-810 support, and back up photos to cloud storage to preserve high-resolution images.
