How to use

Fit a compatible Metabo LTX battery (sold separately) according to the tool instructions. Select the required heating time and distance from the workpiece, keeping the nozzle moving to avoid overheating one spot. Use appropriate nozzles and hold the tool at the recommended distance for the task—closer for faster paint stripping, further back for shrink tubing and adhesive softening. Allow heated materials to cool before handling.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment (gloves and eye protection) and work in a ventilated area. Do not use the heat gun near flammable materials or in explosive atmospheres. For sustained high-temperature work, use a mains-powered heat gun better suited for continuous operation.
