Soprador de ar quente Metabo HGE 23-650

The Metabo HGE 23-650 hot air gun delivers high heat output and steady airflow for a range of workshop and home tasks. Powered by a 2300 W motor, it reaches temperatures up to 650 °C and provides airflow up to 500 l/min. The tool features a pistol-grip design and a 4 m cable for flexible positioning. Weighing approximately 700 g, the unit balances performance with manageable handling for extended use.

Advantages

The combination of a 2300 W heating element and regulated airflow ensures fast heating and consistent temperature delivery across different applications. The pistol handle offers ergonomic control and reduces operator fatigue. A long 4 m power cord increases reach without the immediate need for extension leads, and the lightweight construction simplifies precision work. The tool is suitable for continuous operation and quick heat-up cycles.

Suitable for

• Paint and varnish stripping from wood, metal and other surfaces
• Shrink wrapping and heat-shrinking tubing
• Thawing frozen pipes and removing adhesives
• Bending and shaping plastics and softening putty or solder mask removal

Key specifications

• Power: 2300 W
• Maximum temperature: 650 °C
• Airflow: up to 500 l/min
• Cable length: 4 m
• Weight: approx. 700 g
• Tool design: pistol grip for ergonomic handling

How to use

Set the hot air gun to the required temperature and airflow according to the material and the task. Hold the tool by the pistol handle and keep the nozzle at an appropriate distance from the workpiece to avoid overheating: start at a greater distance and move closer as needed. Move the gun in steady passes over the target area until the material reacts (paint bubbles, adhesive softens, shrink film tightens). Allow heated components to cool before handling and secure the tool on a heat-resistant surface when not in use.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as heat-resistant gloves and eye protection, and ensure adequate ventilation when working with coatings or adhesives. Test on a small area first to determine the correct temperature and distance settings for the material. Avoid directing hot air at electrical components unless power is disconnected and components are rated for such exposure.
