Connect the SSD to a compatible host using the provided USB-C-to-C cable for USB 3.2 Gen 2 performance or the USB-C-to-A cable for legacy ports. For first use, install Samsung Magician software on your Windows or macOS device if you wish to manage firmware, monitor drive health and enable password encryption. Copy files by drag-and-drop or use your preferred backup or editing software. For optimal transfer speeds, connect to a port that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2.
