Built for demanding industrial environments, the STORESYS IPC-C480E is a 19-inch 4U rackmount chassis that combines rugged steel construction with flexible drive and power supply options. Unlike typical server cases, it supports both standard ATX and compact Flex-ATX motherboards, and accommodates either a PS/2 (standard ATX) or mini-redundant power supply—giving system integrators the freedom to configure reliable, serviceable systems without being locked into proprietary form factors.

Highlights

• 4U height for 19-inch racks, 480 mm depth for compatibility with standard industrial cabinets
• Supports ATX and Flex-ATX motherboards, plus PS/2 or mini-redundant PSUs (not included)
• Three external 5.25" bays, one external 3.5" bay, and eight internal 3.5" bays for extensive storage and expansion
• Lockable front door protects drives and controls from unauthorized access
• Two front USB 2.0 ports for convenient peripheral connection
• Durable steel chassis with black finish, designed for continuous operation

In daily use

The IPC-C480E excels in industrial automation, machine control, and data acquisition tasks where reliability and easy maintenance are critical. The lockable front door keeps removable drives and power/reset buttons secure, while the front USB ports allow quick access for configuration or data transfer without opening the rack. With eight internal 3.5" bays, you can build high-capacity storage servers or RAID arrays; the three 5.25" bays accommodate optical drives, hot-swap cages, or additional storage. The 480 mm depth ensures a comfortable fit in most 19-inch racks, leaving room for cable management and airflow.
