Subwoofer ativo ADAM Audio Sub10 Mk2 200W

The ADAM Audio Sub10 Mk2 200W active subwoofer is designed to extend low-frequency performance for studio monitors and home audio systems. Equipped with a 10-inch woofer and a dedicated 200W amplifier, the Sub10 Mk2 delivers controlled bass reproduction with the ability to adjust crossover frequency and phase for accurate integration with main speakers. Its compact sealed cabinet and professional controls support precise monitoring and playback of low-end content without overwhelming the midrange.

Advantages

The unit combines a high-power Class-D amplifier with a sizeable 10-inch driver to provide deep and consistent bass while keeping distortion low. Adjustable crossover and phase controls allow for seamless alignment with different monitor models and room acoustics. The sealed enclosure reduces unwanted resonances and provides tight transient response. Built with studio use in mind, it offers reliable performance for critical listening and mixing as well as for enhancing home audio systems.

Suitable for

• Studio monitoring and mixing where precise low-frequency response is required
• Home audio systems that need deeper bass without compromising clarity
• Post-production and sound design where accurate sub-bass is important
• Small control rooms and project studios with limited space

Key specifications

• Amplifier power: 200 watts
• Driver size: 10-inch woofer
• Type: Active sealed subwoofer
• Adjustable crossover frequency for integration with main speakers
• Phase control for alignment with room and monitors
• Frequency response suitable for studio low-end reproduction
• Inputs/outputs and controls tailored for professional monitoring setups

How to use

Place the subwoofer on a stable surface or stand, ideally near the front wall and close to the main listening position for initial setup. Connect the Sub10 Mk2 to your audio interface or amplifier using the appropriate line-level inputs. Start with the crossover set to a conservative frequency slightly below the low-frequency roll-off of your main monitors, then adjust the level to blend the subwoofer with the mains without masking midrange information. Use the phase control while listening to a familiar track to find the position that yields the most coherent bass and smooth transition between speakers.

Recommendations

For critical monitoring, perform room measurements or use known reference material to set crossover and level. Positioning and small adjustments to phase and crossover will significantly affect perceived bass tightness and localization. In small rooms, moderate levels help avoid excitation of room modes; in larger spaces, higher output may be required to achieve the intended low-frequency extension.
