The RAM-B-166U-C suction cup double ball mount is an aluminium mounting solution with a 3.3" diameter twist-lock suction cup base, a long double socket arm and a diamond base adapter. The suction cup base is engineered to provide a strong hold on glass and other non-porous plastic surfaces and is compatible with RAM adhesive disks. The mount uses RAM's patented 1" rubber ball-and-socket system with adjustable joints at both ends of the double socket arm to enable broad, precise positioning for optimal viewing angles.

How to use

Clean the mounting surface (glass or other non-porous plastic) to remove dust, oil and debris. Place the suction cup on the surface, engage the twist-lock mechanism to create suction, and verify the base is firmly secured. Attach the device cradle or accessory to the diamond base adapter using the matching hole pattern, then loosen the ball-and-socket joints to position the device and tighten the socket clamps to lock the angle. For removal, release the twist-lock and lift the suction cup edge to break the seal.

Recommendations

Use only on smooth, non-porous surfaces; avoid textured or painted surfaces. Regularly check the suction and mounting tightness, especially under temperature changes or prolonged vibration.
