Switch gerido Trendnet TPE-TG182ES 16 portas Gigabit Ethernet PoE

TRENDnet TPE-TG182ES is an 18-port EdgeSmart managed switch with 16 Gigabit PoE+ RJ-45 ports and two Gigabit SFP slots. Designed for rackmount deployments, this switch provides a 240W PoE power budget, a 36 Gbit/s switching capacity and an 8,000-entry MAC address table. The web-based management interface supports common managed features—VLAN, static link aggregation, RSTP, QoS, IGMP Snooping and per-port bandwidth control—allowing centralized control of connected devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras and VoIP handsets.

Advantages

The TPE-TG182ES combines PoE+ power delivery and edge-level management in a 1U 19" rackmount metal housing. It supports voice VLAN and IEEE 802.1p CoS with queue scheduling to prioritise latency-sensitive traffic, plus smart fan control to reduce operating noise. Two SFP ports enable long-distance fibre connectivity while the switch remains manageable via an easy-to-use web interface. The unit is NDAA/TAA compliant for U.S. and Canada deployments.

Suitable for

• Small to medium-sized business networks requiring PoE+ for wireless access points
• Surveillance systems using multiple IP cameras
• Voice over IP deployments with VoIP phones and voice VLAN needs
• Edge wiring closets and 1U rack installations

How to use

Mount the switch in a standard 19" rack using the included brackets. Connect powered devices (APs, cameras, VoIP phones) to the Gigabit PoE+ RJ-45 ports; use the SFP ports for fibre uplinks if needed. Access the web-based management interface from a connected workstation to configure VLANs, link aggregation, RSTP, QoS, and bandwidth limits. Monitor status and PoE allocation via the GUI and adjust settings for optimal traffic prioritisation.

Recommendations

For reliable PoE distribution, plan total connected device power draw to remain within the 240W PoE budget. Use voice VLAN and QoS settings for VoIP deployments to reduce latency, and configure IGMP Snooping for efficient multicast handling in surveillance or IPTV scenarios.
