How to use

Install the unit into a standard 19" rack using the supplied brackets. Connect edge devices or upstream equipment to the RJ-45 ports using Cat5e or higher cabling. Power on the switch and allow it to complete self-initialization; ports will auto-negotiate speed and duplex and auto MDI/MDIX will correct cable type automatically. No additional configuration is required for basic operation.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a well-ventilated rack space, avoid stacking heavy equipment directly on top, and use quality Cat5e/Cat6 cables for Gigabit links to ensure reliable performance.
