Cabo de fibra ótica InfiniBand Synergy 21 S217046 7,5 m 2x LC azul branco amarelo

The Synergy 21 S217046 InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7.5 m duplex link designed for high-speed networking environments. Equipped with two LC connectors at each end and using OS2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter, this cable supports full-duplex communication and is intended for long-distance, low-loss signal transmission in data centres, server rooms, and telecommunications racks. The cable features a blue jacket with white and yellow markings to aid identification and routing.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable provides reliable signal integrity and low attenuation over longer runs thanks to its OS2 single-mode construction and 9 µm core. The LC duplex connectors offer a compact, standardized interface for high-density patching panels and network modules. The 7.5 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical inter-rack and intra-rack connections while colour-coded jacketing simplifies cable management and visual identification.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections in data centres
• High-performance computing (HPC) clusters using InfiniBand interconnects
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames requiring LC duplex terminations
• Telecommunications equipment rooms and structured cabling backbones

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 metres
• Connector type: LC duplex (2x LC)
• Fibre type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Blue with white and yellow markings
• Typical applications: InfiniBand networking, long-reach single-mode links

How to use

Identify the correct ports on your InfiniBand or optical networking devices and align the LC connectors with the adapter port to ensure proper insertion. Avoid bending the cable beyond recommended minimum bend radius and secure the cable along trays or racks to prevent strain on connectors. For best performance, keep connectors clean and use dust caps when the cable is not connected. Verify link status and signal quality through your network equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fibre optic cable in a dry, temperature-controlled environment and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connecting. Use this 7.5 m OS2 LC duplex cable where single-mode, low-loss transmission is required, and consult equipment documentation for supported InfiniBand transceiver types and link settings.
