Tampa antipoeira BlueOptics BODCMPO 10 unid. preto

The BlueOptics BODCMPO Dust Cover is a pack of 10 black dust caps designed to protect MPO/MTP ports and transceivers from dust, dirt and other contaminants. These dust covers are intended for use during storage, transport or temporary disconnection to preserve optical components and maintain connector cleanliness. The compact, snap-fit design ensures a secure fit while occupying minimal space.

Advantages

These dust caps provide reliable mechanical protection for sensitive optical interfaces without introducing chemicals or residues. The black colour offers a discreet appearance that integrates with standard network equipment. Supplied in a pack of 10, the set supports multiple ports or spares for replacements and routine maintenance.

Suitable for

• Protecting MPO/MTP transceivers and adapters during storage
• Covering unused ports in patch panels and media converters
• Temporary protection during installation or equipment transport
• Maintenance kits for optical network technicians

Key specifications

• Quantity: 10 pieces per pack
• Compatible interface type: MPO/MTP style ports (dust cover for multi-fibre connectors)
• Colour: Black
• Material: durable plastic (non-abrasive, non-conductive)
• Fit method: snap-fit / push-in cap

How to use

Before placing the dust cover, ensure the connector endface and surrounding area are free of large particles. Align the dust cover with the MPO/MTP connector and press gently until the cap seats securely. To remove, pull the cap straight off without twisting to avoid contact with the connector endface. Use covers whenever connectors are not mated to minimize contamination and potential signal degradation.

Recommendations

Store unused dust covers in a clean, dry place and keep spare caps with maintenance tools. Replace damaged or deformed caps to maintain effective protection. For optimal optical performance, clean connector endfaces according to manufacturer's procedures before mating connectors even if dust covers were used.
