Tampa de alumínio Pensofal 4951 – 14 cm, Academy Class, botão em latão fundido

Aluminum Lid Pensofal 4951 is a replacement cover designed for cookware with a 14 cm diameter. Part of the Academy Class range, this lid combines lightweight aluminum construction with a cast brass knob to offer a practical, heat-conductive solution for retaining heat and moisture during cooking. It is suitable for use as a spare or replacement lid for pots and pans that match the 14 cm size.

Advantages

The aluminum body ensures low weight and good thermal conduction for even heat distribution across the covered surface, while the cast brass knob provides a durable, stable grip that remains secure during handling. The simple, rounded profile gives a low profile fit that helps minimize steam loss and maintains consistent cooking conditions. As a replacement lid, it fits standard 14 cm cookware and is easy to place and remove.

Suitable for

• Covering small saucepans and single-serving pots with 14 cm diameter
• Retaining moisture during simmering and gentle boiling
• Replacing a damaged or missing lid on compatible cookware
• Reducing splatter when frying small portions

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum lid body with cast brass knob
• Diameter: 14 cm (suitable for cookware with matching rim size)
• Design: rounded, low-profile cover to limit steam loss
• Weight: lightweight construction for easy handling

How to use

Place the lid centered on a compatible 14 cm pot or pan rim to ensure a secure fit. Use the cast brass knob to lift the lid while cooking; avoid using excessive force when fitting or removing to prevent deformation. During high heat, handle the knob with care or protective glove if necessary, as the knob and lid will become hot. Clean the lid after use according to the cookware's care recommendations to preserve the finish of the aluminum and brass components.

Recommendations

For routine maintenance, wash the lid by hand with mild detergent and dry promptly to avoid water spots. Avoid strong abrasive cleaners or steel wool on the brass knob and aluminum surface to prevent scratches. Inspect the knob periodically for secure fastening and tighten if required following manufacturer's guidance.
