Telegärtner splitter Token Ring ficha RJ45 macho para 2x conector fêmea RJ45 blindado cinzento claro J00029A0011

Unlike generic Ethernet splitters that simply parallel-wire two ports, the Telegärtner J00029A0011 is a dedicated Token Ring splitter engineered for the unique electrical and signalling requirements of IEEE 802.5 networks. Its shielded RJ45 male input connects directly to the lobe cable from the MAU or switch, while two shielded female outputs let you attach two stations or extend the ring without disrupting the continuity of the main path. This passive, cable-mounted unit maintains the 100-ohm impedance and shielding integrity that Token Ring demands, supporting both 4 Mbps and 16 Mbps data rates with minimal insertion loss.

Highlights

• Purpose-built for Token Ring, not a repurposed Ethernet splitter
• Shielded RJ45 connectors (STP) preserve ring grounding and noise immunity
• Splits one male lobe connection into two female ports for flexible topology
• Supports both 4 Mbps and 16 Mbps Token Ring speeds
• Inline, cable-mounted design requires no external power
• Light grey housing blends into structured cabling environments

In daily use

Install this splitter directly at the workstation or in a consolidation point. Connect the male end to the existing Token Ring lobe cable, then plug two station cables into the female ports. Because the splitter is passive, there is no added latency or failure point beyond the connectors themselves. The shielded metal shells on all three RJ45 jacks ensure continuous grounding, which is critical in industrial or electrically noisy environments. The compact plastic housing is robust enough for repeated handling yet light enough to be supported by the cabling alone.
