The Television Samsung Q8F QE85Q8FAAU 85" 4K Ultra HD QLED 3840 x 2160 is a large-screen Smart TV designed for high-resolution viewing. The 85" QLED panel with Dual LED backlighting provides improved color accuracy and enhanced contrast. The Tizen operating system gives access to streaming apps and system settings, while built-in tuners support DVB-C, DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 reception. Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi and Ethernet LAN. Motion Xcelerator technology helps maintain smooth motion rendering for fast-moving content, and energy efficiency ratings are E for SDR and G for HDR.

Advantages

The QLED display offers a wide color gamut and higher peak brightness potential compared to conventional LED panels, which improves picture clarity on an 85" diagonal. Dual LED backlighting adapts color tone and contrast depending on content. Motion Xcelerator reduces motion blur in fast scenes. Tizen OS provides a unified interface for app access and system configuration. Multiple built-in broadcast tuners and standard network connectivity simplify receiving digital channels and streaming services without additional set-top boxes.

How to use

Place the TV on a stable surface or install it on a wall mount rated for an 85" display, ensuring adequate ventilation around the chassis. Connect the power cable and attach any external antenna, satellite or cable feeds to the appropriate tuner inputs for DVB reception. For network features, connect via Wi‑Fi from the network settings menu or use an Ethernet LAN cable. Use the Tizen interface to sign in to streaming applications, select picture modes, and configure system preferences. Choose picture modes appropriate for the content type (for example movie or sports) and adjust brightness and contrast for the viewing environment.

Recommendations

Keep firmware updated via the Tizen software update function, avoid leaving static images on screen for prolonged periods to reduce risk of image retention, and consider adjusting energy settings if frequent HDR playback is expected because HDR mode has higher measured energy consumption.
