Outwell Cloud 5 is a freestanding dome tent designed to accommodate up to five people. The design provides a sleeping area and simple internal space management suitable for weekend trips, campground stays and situations where lightweight portability and fast assembly are priorities.

Advantages

The tent's freestanding dome structure enables easy pitching and relocation without fixed pegs, while a compact pack size supports transport in small vehicles. The green outer fabric offers a low-profile look at campsites and basic protection from wind and light rain. Internal layout is optimised for five occupants, delivering practical sleeping space and headroom for sitting and gear stowage. Materials and construction emphasize straightforward maintenance and usability for occasional campers.

Key specifications

• Type: Freestanding dome tent
• Capacity: Designed for five occupants
• Colour: Green
• Setup: Quick and simple pitch for fast assembly
• Intended use: Weekend and campground camping
• Packability: Compact for easier transport and storage

How to use

Choose a level, debris-free pitch and lay out the tent footprint. Assemble the poles and insert them into the corresponding sleeves or clips, then raise the dome structure until it is self-supporting. Stake the corners and guy points where required for stability, and attach any inner fittings or ventilation panels as needed. Arrange sleeping pads and luggage inside the sleeping area, keeping a clear entrance for access. After use, clean and dry the tent before packing to prevent mildew and store in a dry place.

Recommendations

For best results, use the tent on prepared or grassy pitches and avoid prolonged exposure to severe weather. Regularly check seams and zippers for wear, and ventilate the interior during wet conditions to reduce condensation. Carry a basic repair kit and extra guylines for added security if windier conditions are expected.
