How to use

Install the HDMI socket outlet by fitting it into a standard wall box according to local electrical and wiring regulations, ensuring power is isolated when performing any installation that involves electrical components. Mount the faceplate to the wall box and secure the HDMI module. Connect the internal HDMI cable or pigtail to the device or distribution point behind the wall, and use a standard HDMI patch cable at the visible outlet to connect a TV or source device. Verify signal integrity by testing audio and video playback after installation.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, appropriately shielded HDMI cables for runs of greater length and avoid sharp bends at the connector to preserve signal quality. For in-wall cable runs, follow local building codes and use cables rated for in-wall installation where required. If signal degradation occurs over long distances, consider using an HDMI extender or an active HDMI cable compatible with your devices.
