Transformador de áudio Omnitronic ELA-T20OD 20W 100V para sistemas ELA

The Omnitronic ELA-T20OD 20W 100V audio transformer is built for integrating low-impedance loudspeakers into distributed 100V public address and paging systems. It performs impedance matching between amplifiers and long 100V speaker lines, enabling stable power transfer and consistent audio distribution across commercial and institutional installations. The compact design and fixed 20-watt rating make it appropriate for individual speakers or small speaker clusters fed from a central 100V amplifier line.

Advantages

The transformer offers reliable impedance matching to reduce mismatches and preserve amplifier stability when connecting low-impedance speakers to a 100V bus. Its 20W power handling provides predictable performance for small to medium coverage zones, while the 100V tap simplifies wiring and allows multiple units to share a common amplifier output. The unit is engineered for steady operation in typical indoor public address environments and helps maintain level consistency across distributed speakers.

How to use

Install the Omnitronic ELA-T20OD inline between the speaker and the 100V amplifier line, connecting the transformer's primary side to the 100V output and the secondary to the speaker terminals. Ensure the transformer's 20W rating matches or exceeds the speaker load and select wiring and connectors rated for the installation environment. Observe correct polarity when connecting to maintain phase coherence across multiple speakers. After wiring, test each speaker channel at low level and gradually increase to the required operating level while monitoring for distortion or overheating.

Recommendations

Match the transformer's rated power to the speaker and zone requirements, allow headroom to avoid saturating the transformer, and keep wiring runs tidy to minimize hum and interference. For larger zones or multiple speakers per transformer, calculate the combined load to ensure the 20W rating is not exceeded. When in doubt, consult a qualified audio installer to verify compatibility with the existing 100V amplifier and speaker arrangement.
