Its compact 140 × 148 × 41 mm footprint (30 mm shorter than larger models) provides better internal space utilisation and improved airflow inside compatible chassis. Mounting orientation for this model is horizontal.

Advantages

The SATA interface ensures straightforward integration into modern desktop systems while tray loading delivers simple, reliable disc insertion and ejection. Support for both DVD±RW and CD formats enables reading and writing of a wide variety of media for archiving, distribution and playback. The compact height and shorter length compared with some models provides additional clearance for case layouts and helps maintain internal airflow. The black bezel gives a neutral, unobtrusive appearance in most desktop builds.
