Ventoinha Fractal Design Prisma AL-12 PWM

The Fractal Design Prisma AL-12 PWM is a 120 mm case fan designed to provide balanced airflow and addressable RGB lighting. It combines six hub-mounted ARGB LEDs with a white semi-opaque outer ring and blades to create an even glow across the fan surface. The fan operates on 12 V and fits standard 120 x 25 mm mounting dimensions, making it suitable for a variety of computer cases.

Advantages

ARGB lighting with six hub-mounted LEDs and a semi-opaque outer ring produces a uniform illumination across the fan. Compatibility with major motherboard lighting ecosystems (ASUS Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome) allows software control of color and effects. Integrated vibration-damping corners and a low-noise LLS bearing reduce operational noise. PWM control gives precise speed management from 500 to 2000 RPM for a balance of airflow and silence.

How to use

Install the Prisma AL-12 PWM in a compatible 120 mm fan mount using the supplied screws. Connect the 4-pin PWM power connector to a motherboard fan header for speed control, and connect the ARGB cable to a compatible 3-pin addressable RGB header or ARGB controller for lighting. If using motherboard software, enable the corresponding ecosystem (ASUS Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, or ASRock Polychrome) to synchronize effects. Optionally, pair with the Fractal Adjust R1 controller for manual color, brightness, and effect switching.

Recommendations

For optimal balance of noise and cooling, use PWM control to adjust fan speed according to system temperature. Ensure ARGB connections match your motherboard header pinout before powering the system to avoid lighting issues.
