Watercool Heatkiller IV para Radeon RX 5700 / XT – dissipador de água GPU full-cover em acetato

The Watercool Heatkiller IV for Radeon RX 5700 / XT is a full-cover GPU water block engineered to cool AMD Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT reference-design graphics cards. It combines an acetal top with a precision-machined copper base to remove heat from the GPU core, surrounding VRAM and VRM components and transfer it efficiently into a liquid-cooling loop. The block is intended for custom loop systems in gaming PCs and workstations where reduced GPU temperatures and quieter operation are required.

Advantages

This full-cover design provides direct liquid contact over the GPU area and targeted cooling for memory and voltage regulation modules, resulting in low thermal resistance and uniform heat extraction across the PCB. The solid copper cold plate ensures high thermal conductivity while the acetal top offers chemical resistance and a sealed interface for coolant flow. The block is manufactured for compatibility with reference PCB layouts, enabling straightforward installation on supported Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT cards without modifying the GPU board.

Suitable for

• Custom liquid-cooled gaming rigs using Radeon RX 5700 / RX 5700 XT
• Workstation systems requiring stable GPU temperatures under sustained load
• Silent PC builds where air-cooling noise should be minimized
• Overclocking setups that need improved thermal headroom on GPU and VRM

Key specifications

• Cooling type: full-cover GPU water block for liquid cooling loops
• Top material: acetal (durable, chemically resistant)
• Cold plate material: nickel-free copper, precision-machined
• Cooling target: GPU core, VRAM, VRM areas on reference-layout RX 5700 / RX 5700 XT
• Mounting: designed to fit reference PCB mounting points for supported cards
• Flow ports: standard G1/4-compatible threaded ports for fittings

How to use

Install the Watercool Heatkiller IV in a drained and prepared custom water-cooling loop. Remove the graphics card shroud and existing cooler according to the card manufacturer’s service instructions, then align the block to the reference PCB mounting points and secure it with the supplied mounting hardware. Ensure thermal pads or paste are correctly placed on memory and VRM contact areas and that the copper base makes firm contact with the GPU die. Connect the block to the loop using appropriate G1/4 fittings and perform a leak test before powering the system.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-inhibited coolant compatible with copper and acetal materials and maintain regular loop maintenance including coolant replacement and leak checks. Verify that your Radeon RX 5700 / RX 5700 XT card matches a reference PCB layout before installation. For best results, combine the block with adequate radiator capacity and a pump delivering steady flow to maintain low GPU and VRM temperatures during heavy loads.
