POCO F8 Ultra is a 5G smartphone with a 6.9" (2608×1200) POCO HyperRGB display, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (up to 3.6 GHz). It combines 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB internal storage with a 50 MP triple rear camera system and a 32 MP front camera. The device includes Dual SIM support (NanoSIM + eSIM), IP68 dust and water resistance, a large 6500 mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging, and a lightweight yet durable design in black.

Advantages

The POCO F8 Ultra offers a high-performance flagship chipset that supports sustained peak performance through advanced cooling and per-frame optimisation, making it suitable for demanding apps and games. Its large 6.9" high-brightness display with slim bezels delivers near-2K clarity and improved power efficiency. Photography capabilities include a 50 MP main sensor, ultra-wide optics and a 5x periscope telephoto lens with OIS, plus a 32 MP front camera for detailed selfies. Battery capacity and charging options provide long runtime and flexible fast-charge support. IP68 rating and reinforced materials increase durability for daily use.

Suitable for

• Mobile gaming and high-load applications that benefit from a powerful chipset and advanced cooling
• Photography and content creation using the 50 MP main camera, ultra-wide lens and 5x periscope telephoto
• Long trips and heavy daily use thanks to the 6500 mAh battery and fast charging
• Users who need dual connectivity with Dual SIM and modern wireless standards

When it may not be suitable

The POCO F8 Ultra is a large 6.9" device and may be cumbersome for users who prefer compact phones or one-handed operation. Those who require official repairability beyond its stated repairability class or who prioritise the lightest possible device should consider smaller or lighter alternatives.
