Why choose it

This cradle is purpose-built for environments where the RFD40 RFID sled is a daily tool. Unlike generic cradles, it accommodates the sled's extended profile, so you don't have to remove the sled every time you dock. The USB-C connection ensures fast, reliable data transfer, and the LED indicator gives at-a-glance confirmation that charging is underway. Its compact footprint keeps the workspace tidy while protecting the device from wear.

Ideal use cases

• Retail backrooms for RFID tag reading and inventory counts
• Warehouse receiving and picking stations with EC50/EC55 handhelds
• Healthcare supply rooms using RFID tracking on mobile computers
• Field service depots where devices are docked between shifts

Good to know

The cradle requires a separate 12V DC power supply (e.g., Zebra PWR-BGA12V50W0WW) and DC cable (e.g., CBL-DC-388A1-01) for operation. It is designed for desktop use and should be placed in a dry, climate-controlled area. The cradle does not include a battery charger for spare batteries; it only charges the device in the slot.
