Adaptador conector fêmea F para conector fêmea RCA ShiverPeaks 85325 — adaptador coaxial para áudio/vídeo compósito

The ShiverPeaks F-type female to RCA female adapter 85325 is a passive connector designed to join an F-type coaxial socket with an RCA (phono) socket for composite audio/video or RF signal routing. It allows a coaxial cable carrying analogue video or RF signals to be connected to devices with an RCA input or output, making it useful in older AV systems, set-top boxes and analogue equipment where direct compatibility between coaxial and RCA cabling is required.

Advantages

This adapter provides a simple, tool-free method to adapt between F-type coaxial and RCA female connectors without active electronics. Its compact metal housing offers mechanical stability and consistent contact for signal transfer. The passive design preserves the original signal type and requires no power or configuration, enabling quick integration into existing AV setups and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting a coaxial cable from an antenna or cable outlet to a device with an RCA composite video input
• Linking set-top boxes, DVD players or older AV receivers that use RCA connections to coaxial cable runs
• Temporary adaptations during AV installations, testing, or troubleshooting of analogue signals

Key specifications

• Connector A: F-type female (coaxial)
• Connector B: RCA (phono) female
• Function: Passive mechanical adapter for analogue composite video and RF signals
• Housing: metal construction for mechanical durability and shielding
• Signal compatibility: composite video and RF (analogue)
• Installation: plug-and-play, no external power required

How to use

Ensure both the coaxial cable and the RCA cable or device are powered off before connecting. Screw the coaxial cable or outlet onto the F-type female side until secure, then insert the RCA male plug into the RCA female socket of the adapter. Confirm a snug mechanical fit for both connections. After connections are made, power devices and verify signal transmission on the target device; adjust seating if the picture or audio is unstable.

Recommendations

For optimal analogue signal quality, use short, well-shielded coaxial cables and maintain firm, corrosion-free connections. Avoid using multiple passive adapters in series to reduce potential signal loss; where longer runs or conversions are needed, consider active converters or amplifiers appropriate for the signal type.
