Altifalante externo para TomTom Webfleet LINK 7xx, 12V DC, acessório

The External Buzzer Solution for TomTom Webfleet LINK 7xx is an accessory designed to provide an audible alert interface for fleet telematics units. Powered by 12V DC, this external buzzer connects to the LINK 7xx device to deliver louder or externally positioned notifications compared with the built-in speaker. It is intended for installation in commercial vehicles and fleet environments where clear audio alerts are required for driver notifications, safety prompts, or maintenance reminders.

Advantages

This external buzzer increases audible range and volume for Webfleet LINK 7xx units, improving noticeability of alerts in noisy cabin or cargo areas. The accessory is compatible with the LINK 7xx product family and is tailored to operate from a 12V DC vehicle power supply, ensuring straightforward electrical integration in typical commercial vehicle installations. The design enables mounting in locations separate from the telematics unit, allowing placement for optimal audibility.

Suitable for

• Fleet vehicles requiring louder or externally located alerts
• Commercial trucks, vans, and service vehicles operating in noisy environments
• Installations where the built-in speaker is not sufficiently audible
• Driver notification systems for safety warnings, route deviations, or maintenance reminders

Key specifications

• Voltage: 12V DC operation suitable for standard vehicle electrical systems
• Compatibility: designed for use with TomTom Webfleet LINK 7xx series telematics units
• Function: external audible alert/buzzer output to supplement built-in speaker
• Mounting: external mounting capability for placement in optimal audible positions
• Application environment: commercial vehicle and fleet telematics installations

How to use

Connect the buzzer to the designated alert output and 12V DC supply according to the LINK 7xx installation guidelines and wiring diagram. Secure the unit in a location where the sound will be clearly heard by the driver or relevant personnel, avoiding areas where water ingress or excessive heat may occur. After installation, verify correct operation by triggering a test alert from the Webfleet interface or the LINK device diagnostics, and adjust mounting or orientation if necessary to achieve the required audibility.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, install the buzzer using appropriate vehicle wiring practices and secure connections to the 12V supply and alert output. Position the buzzer to minimize obstruction and exposure to moisture, and test volume and audibility under typical operating conditions. Follow vehicle and telematics installation safety guidelines when routing cabling and mounting the device.
