Cabo ótico ativo SFP+ AOC CBO SFP-AOC-10G-2M 10Gbit/s 2 m para Huawei

The BlueOptics SFP+ AOC CBO SFP-AOC-10G-2M is an active optical cable that provides a direct 10Gbps connection over a 2-meter optical link for compatible Huawei SFP+ ports. Designed for short-reach interconnects in server rooms and data centers, the cable integrates optical transceivers and a fibre link in a single assembly, eliminating the need for separate SFP+ modules. The construction ensures low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for dense rack-to-rack and top-of-rack connections where reliable 10Gbps links are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers 10 Gigabit per second throughput with low power consumption and consistent signal integrity across a 2 m distance. By combining transceiver functionality and fiber in one unit it reduces installation complexity and frees SFP+ ports from module handling. The AOC design provides better resistance to EMI compared with copper alternatives and supports compact cable management in constrained rack environments.

Suitable for

• Short-reach connections between switches and servers in data centers
• Top-of-rack and rack-to-rack interconnects
• High-density networking environments requiring 10Gbps links
• Storage area network uplinks and aggregation links

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ electrical/optical assembly compatible with Huawei SFP+ ports
• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Length: 2 meters
• Cable type: Active optical cable (integrated transceivers and fiber)
• Signal type: Optical, immunity to electromagnetic interference
• Usage: Short-reach data center interconnects

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the appropriate SFP+ port on the two devices until the latch engages. No separate transceivers are required. Ensure both endpoints are powered down or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by the device vendor, then verify link status in the switch or server management interface. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the connectors; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the cable manufacturer for reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use this AOC in data center short-reach scenarios up to 2 m, in well-ventilated rack spaces and away from sources of mechanical stress. Verify compatibility with the host device firmware and enable any required SFP+ port settings. For high-density deployments, label both ends for easier maintenance and follow standard electrostatic and handling procedures when installing.
