Transceptor SFP de fibra ótica CBO SFP-1G-SX 1G 850nm para fibra multimodo

The BlueOptics CBO SFP-1G-SX is a compact SFP fiber optic transceiver designed for 1 Gbps Ethernet links over multimode fiber at an 850 nm wavelength. This hot-pluggable module fits standard SFP ports on switches and routers and provides short-range optical connectivity for server uplinks, access switches and local enterprise LAN segments. The module supports a single fiber pair for transmit and receive and is intended for easy replacement or upgrade of existing optics without changing the host hardware.

Advantages

The SFP-1G-SX delivers reliable short-range performance with low power consumption in a small form factor compatible with many network devices. Its hot-pluggable design simplifies maintenance and minimizes downtime when replacing or upgrading optics. Compatibility with multimode fiber and a standardized 850 nm wavelength ensures predictable link behavior and interoperability across compliant networking equipment.

How to use

Insert the SFP-1G-SX into an empty SFP slot on a compatible switch or router until it clicks into place. Connect a duplex multimode fiber patch cable to the module's optical interface, ensuring correct transmit/receive orientation. Configure the host port as needed through the device's management interface to enable the 1 Gbps link. For removal, power down the port or disable it in software where possible, then press the latch and gently pull the module out.

Recommendations

Use OM1/OM2/OM3 multimode fiber as specified by your network design and verify link distance limits for the chosen fiber grade. Keep fiber connectors and the SFP interface clean to maintain optical performance. When replacing optics, confirm host device compatibility with vendor documentation to avoid interoperability issues.
