Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or damaged mains cable for a 65W laptop AC adapter
• Carrying as a spare power lead when traveling with a compatible laptop charger
• Using at home or in the office to ensure uninterrupted charging and laptop operation

Key specifications

• Designed for AC adapters rated around 65W
• Mains connector type compatible with standard wall sockets in supported regions
• Durable insulated cable jacket for regular use
• Integrated strain-relief at connector ends to reduce bending stress
• Compact, lightweight design suitable for travel and storage

How to use

Check that the AC adapter is rated for 65W and that the adapter accepts this style of mains lead. Insert the cable’s appliance connector into the adapter’s inlet until it seats firmly, then plug the mains plug into a compatible wall socket. Ensure connections are secure before powering on the adapter and connecting the adapter to the laptop. To disconnect, power down the laptop if possible, unplug the mains plug from the socket first and then remove the cable from the adapter by pulling the connector—avoid pulling on the cable jacket to prevent stress at the ends.

Recommendations

Store the cable loosely coiled to prevent sharp bends, avoid exposure to liquids and extreme temperatures, and inspect connectors regularly for damage. Replace the cable if the insulation is cracked, connectors are loose, or if there are exposed conductors.
