Cabo de fibra ótica EFB Elektronik O0318.3 3m SC

The EFB Elektronik O0318.3 is a 3 m OM4 fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends. Designed for structured cabling conforming to ISO/IEC 11801, this fibre jumper uses a 50 µm core to provide full-duplex optical communication suitable for high-speed network links and data centre connections.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre offers improved bandwidth and reach compared with earlier multimode types, while SC connectors provide a durable push-pull coupling with stable optical performance. The 3 m length simplifies short-distance patching between switches, patch panels or transceivers and the standardized jumper format ensures compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and patch panels in data centres
• Connecting transceivers (SFP, SFP+, etc.) to patch panels
• Short-range multimode links in enterprise LANs

Key specifications

• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• Model / MPN: O0318.3
• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC – SC (both ends)
• Duplex: Full duplex
• EAN: 4049759022433

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before use and clean if necessary using appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks; ensure correct alignment for duplex links. Route the cable to avoid excessive bends or tension, maintaining the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for OM4 multimode fibre.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this OM4 SC–SC jumper for short multimode connections up to the expected OM4 distance limits, keep connectors capped when not in use, and follow standard fibre handling and safety procedures.
