Cabo ótico ativo SFP28 BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-UQ-BO, 25 m, cor menta, macho–macho

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-UQ-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors at both ends, providing a 25 m direct connection for high-speed server-to-switch or switch-to-switch links. The cable uses active optics to transmit signals over multimode fiber and comes in a mint-coloured jacket for easy routing and visual identification in dense cabling environments. Its lightweight construction (0.15 kg) simplifies handling and installation in data center racks and network cabinets.

Advantages

The SFP28 active optical cable offers a compact, plug-and-play solution that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords while maintaining high data throughput. Its SFP28-to-SFP28 configuration supports common 25G applications and is compatible with devices that accept SFP28 modules. The mint-coloured jacket helps with cable management and quick identification among other network links, and the flexible, low-mass design reduces strain on ports and equipment.

Suitable for

• 25G server-to-switch connections in data centers
• Switch-to-switch high-speed links within racks or between adjacent racks
• Short-reach multimode optical interconnects for storage and compute clusters

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type (each end): SFP28
• Data rate: suitable for 25 Gbit/s applications
• Optical medium: active multimode optical link (AOC)
• Product colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your networking devices until it latches. Ensure devices are powered off or follow hot-plug guidelines provided by the hardware vendor before insertion or removal. After connection, verify link status and negotiated speed in the device management interface. Route the mint-coloured cable to minimize bend radius and avoid sharp edges; support the cable within racks or trays to prevent strain on ports.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach 25G links within racks or between adjacent racks where multimode active optical cabling is appropriate. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 AOC modules and follow vendor guidelines for hot-plugging and transceiver support. Avoid tight bends and physical stress on the connectors to maintain performance and longevity.
