Cabo USB DeLOCK 83089 USB 3.0 5m preto

This USB 3.0 cable from Delock extends a USB 3.0 port by approximately 5 m and supports operation of active USB devices. It uses an Asmedia 1465 chipset, follows the USB 3.0 specification (USB 3.2 Gen 1 / 3.1 Gen 1), and has a male-to-female connector with a DC jack for optional external power. The cable is black and designed to maintain data transfer performance over longer distances.

Advantages

The cable provides a reliable active extension of USB 3.0 ports up to around 5 m, includes a dedicated chipset (Asmedia 1465) for signal handling, and offers an optional DC input to supply additional power for connected devices. Its male-to-female connector format allows straightforward extension without replacing existing cables.

Suitable for

• Extending USB 3.0 ports to connect peripherals at longer distances
• Operating active USB devices that require maintained signal integrity
• Setups where optional external power is needed to power USB devices

Key specifications

• USB version: USB 3.0 / USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1)
• Chipset: Asmedia 1465

Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid sharp bends to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

Use this active USB 3.0 extension for peripherals that need a stable USB 3.0 connection over longer distances; if devices draw high current, use the DC power input to prevent power-related disconnects.
