Recommendations

For outdoor installations, mount the padlock in a protected position where possible to reduce direct exposure to driving rain and road salt. Apply a light lubricant designed for locks periodically to maintain cylinder performance. For higher security needs, consider combining this padlock with additional measures such as hasps, reinforced hinges, or alarmed enclosures.
