Cadeado Discus MASTER LOCK 70 mm aço inoxidável chave igual pack de 2

The Master Lock Excell® No. M40EURT Discus padlock has a 70 mm wide stainless steel body and a fully shrouded design to reduce shackle exposure and increase corrosion resistance. The octagonal 10 mm diameter, 16 mm long Tough-Cut™ boron‑carbide shackle is significantly harder than hardened steel to resist cutting and sawing. The lock features a 4‑pin cylinder, dual ball-bearing locking for resistance to prying and hammering, a covered keyway for weather protection, a reinforced body bumper to prevent scratches, and a key retaining function. This model is keyed alike and comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Advantages

The stainless steel 70 mm body provides enhanced weather and corrosion resistance while the fully shrouded design and octagonal boron‑carbide shackle deliver strong protection against bolt cutters and saws. Dual ball-bearing locking and a 4‑pin cylinder improve resistance to forced entry and picking. The covered keyway and reinforced bumper extend service life in outdoor conditions. Key retaining and keyed‑alike configuration add convenience for repeated use.

How to use

Insert the key and turn to retract the locking mechanism, place the shackle through the hasp or around the item to be secured, then rotate the key to lock and remove the key. When used as part of a keyed‑alike set, the same key operates multiple locks to simplify access. Regularly check the covered keyway and shackle for debris and operate the lock periodically to ensure smooth function.

Recommendations

For outdoor installations, mount the padlock where the shroud faces potential cutting tools and avoid direct contact with pooling water. Periodic lubrication of the keyway with a dry lubricant and inspection for corrosion will help maintain performance. Do not use the padlock where temperatures or chemicals exceed stainless steel specifications.
