Caixa elétrica Rittal 1338.000, aço, IP66, 380×350×600 mm

Rittal 1338.000 is a steel electrical enclosure with IP66 protection and external dimensions 380 × 350 × 600 mm (W×D×H). Designed to house electrical and electronic components, this enclosure provides dust-tight and strong protection against water jets and ingress for both indoor and outdoor installations. The compact AX design features integral enclosure locators in the roof, base and side and uses the 25 mm system pitch pattern from the VX25 series, allowing fast configuration and retrofit of system components without drilling.

Advantages

The steel construction ensures mechanical strength and long-term stability while the IP66 rating guarantees protection against dust and powerful water jets. Integral locators and the 25 mm pitch pattern enable rapid, secure installation and retrofitting of rails, accessories and internal equipment. The compact footprint (380×350×600 mm) offers efficient use of space and versatile mounting options for control equipment, terminal strips and wiring.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a stable surface using appropriate external fixings for the installation environment. Open the door and fit required internal rails, terminal strips or mounting plates using the integral enclosure locators and the 25 mm pitch pattern; no drilling is required for attaching compatible AX/VX25 accessories. Route cables through designated knockouts or gland plates, seal all cable entries to maintain IP66 protection, and install components according to their manufacturer instructions. After wiring and testing, close and secure the door to restore full protection.

Recommendations

For reliable IP66 performance, verify that all seals, gaskets and cable glands are correctly installed and undamaged. Select mounting hardware and external fastenings appropriate to the mounting surface and environmental conditions. When retrofitting components, use compatible AX or VX25 accessories for secure, drill-free installation and to preserve enclosure integrity.
