Caixa elétrica Rittal 1535.000, aço IP55, 300×300×120 mm

Rittal 1535.000 is a compact steel electrical enclosure offering IP55 protection in a 300 × 300 × 120 mm footprint. Intended for housing electrical components, terminals and small control devices, the enclosure is supplied as a single-piece unit with a gland plate option that enables straightforward cable entry and flexible interior arrangement. Its corrosion-resistant steel construction and sealed design provide protection against dust and water spray for indoor and sheltered outdoor installations.

Advantages

The steel construction ensures mechanical stability and reliable protection in industrial environments. IP55 protection reduces the risk of dust ingress and provides defense against water jets, while the compact dimensions make the enclosure suitable where space is limited. The integrated gland plate simplifies cable routing and mounting of terminal strips or small modules, enabling efficient use of the interior space. Delivered as a ready-to-install unit, the enclosure reduces installation time and helps maintain consistent protection after assembly.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a flat and rigid surface using appropriate fasteners rated for the installation environment. Remove the cover to install terminal strips, DIN-rail mounted components or fixed plates; use the gland plate to route cables and secure cable glands or conduit entries. Ensure all internal wiring is arranged to maintain clearance and to avoid contact with the enclosure edges. After component installation, re-fit the cover and verify that all seals and fasteners are correctly tightened to preserve the IP55 rating.

Recommendations

Install the enclosure in locations protected from direct high-pressure washing and ensure cable glands or conduits are tightened to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations. For outdoor exposed sites, consider additional protection from direct weathering and use corrosion-resistant fasteners. Periodically inspect seals and gaskets and replace them if damaged to retain IP55 performance.
