Caixa elétrica Rittal AX 1350 000, aço, IP55, 500×300×500 mm

Rittal AX 1350 000 is a steel electrical enclosure with IP55 protection, sized 500×300×500 mm to house electrical and electronic components for control panels, junction boxes and small installations. The cabinet is intended for indoor use and for sheltered outdoor locations where protection against dust and water jets is required. It is supplied as a single ready-to-install unit and provides a rigid, lockable housing for wiring, terminal blocks, relays and small control equipment.

Advantages

The steel construction offers mechanical strength and electromagnetic screening while the IP55 rating ensures protection against dust ingress and water jets. The enclosure includes a secure door and a configurable interior for mounting components. Its compact dimensions make it suitable for constrained spaces and its durable finish resists corrosion in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable flat surface or wall using appropriate fasteners for the substrate and the enclosure weight. Open the door and install a compatible mounting plate or DIN-rail if required, then arrange and fasten electrical components such as terminal blocks, relays and small controllers. Route cables through approved cable entries or glands, maintain proper clearances for ventilation and heat dissipation, and ensure all connections comply with applicable electrical standards. Close and secure the door after installation and label circuits as needed for safe operation and maintenance.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant fasteners and appropriate cable glands for outdoor-exposed entries. Do not exceed the recommended internal component loading and ensure adequate ventilation or forced cooling if installed near heat sources. Verify IP55 sealing after installation and perform periodic inspections of seals and hardware.
