Caixa elétrica Rittal KX 1574.000, armário de aço IP66, 200×155×300 mm

Rittal KX 1574.000 is a steel electrical enclosure designed for indoor and outdoor applications that require dust-tight protection and high resistance to water ingress (IP66). With external dimensions of 200 × 155 × 300 mm, the enclosure provides a compact, robust housing for switchgear, control units, terminal blocks and small automation components. The powder-coated steel construction and sealed joints ensure mechanical protection and environmental sealing suitable for industrial and commercial installations.

Advantages

The enclosure offers IP66-rated protection against dust and strong jets of water, a compact footprint for space-constrained installations and a durable steel body that provides mechanical strength and long service life. Its flat inner surfaces and standard mounting options simplify installation of internal components, while the external finish resists corrosion and wear in typical indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.

How to use

Prepare the mounting surface and mark fixing points according to the enclosure dimensions. Install required internal mounting plate or DIN rails compatible with the enclosure interior, then mount electrical components such as terminal blocks, relays or small controllers. Ensure all cable entries are made using appropriate glands or sealed conduits to maintain IP66 protection. Close and fasten the lid securely after wiring to preserve the enclosure's environmental rating.

Recommendations

For best performance, use compatible sealed cable glands and grommets sized for applied cable diameters, follow local electrical codes during installation, and periodically inspect seals and fasteners for integrity, especially in outdoor or harsh environments.
