How to use

Point the remote at the IR receiver of the compatible device and press the desired button to send a command. Maintain a clear line of sight between the remote transmitter and the receiver for reliable operation. Replace batteries as needed following the device manufacturer's guidance and ensure the receiver on the controlled device is set to accept infrared commands if there is an option to switch control modes.

Recommendations

Use the IR-31 in environments where direct line of sight can be maintained and avoid exposing the transmitter or receiver to strong sunlight or bright lighting that can reduce infrared signal effectiveness. Store the remote in a dry place and replace batteries before they fully discharge to prevent intermittent control issues.
