How to use

Point the IR-8 remote toward the IR receiver of the target device, ensuring there is a clear line of sight between remote and receiver. Install the required batteries in the battery compartment following the polarity markings. Use the buttons to send commands; each button corresponds to specific functions or modes as supported by the target device. Replace batteries when response becomes slow or intermittent. For multi-device environments, verify device compatibility and adjust positioning to avoid cross-interference between receivers.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the remote aimed directly at the device receiver and avoid obstructions. Use fresh batteries for best signal strength and remove batteries if the unit will be stored for long periods. Verify that the controlled equipment supports the IR command set used by the remote; consult device manuals if functions do not respond as expected.
